Hands On
Practice on shaping simple and complex root canal anatomies on 3D models. The new Woodpecker A.I. motor will be used for the practical part.
The lecture will focus on materials and instruments now available in endodontics and how they can be used to improve clinical practice.
The new Orodeka Plex V file system will be presented as well as its shaping sequence. It will be shown how to get the most out of martensitic files in both simple and complex anatomies.
During the hands-on each participants will have the oportunity to try Orodeka Plex V sequence in 3D models with various anatomies. The new motor Woodpecker A.I will be available during the practical part.
About the Speaker
Dr. Careddu was born in Sardinia (Italy), where he graduated with honours from the University of Cagliari (Italy), thereafter completing a Master's program in Clinical Endodontics at the same Institution. He then obtained a Post- Graduate Diploma in Micro-Endodontics in the University of Valencia (Spain).
Dr Careddu moved in Dublin in 2014 where he works as Endodontist in private practice while completing a PhD program in Dublin Dental University Hospital..
He is author of scientific articles and speaker at international endodontic meetings. Dr Careddu is Member of the Committee of the Irish Endodontic Society, Postgraduate Member of the European Society of Endodontology and Member of the Faculty of Dentistry of RCSI
